Woman finds boyfriend’s Tinder account – and people say his reason is ‘genius’ | #tinder | #pof

When it comes to relationships, it’s really important to have trust.

Sadly for one woman, it’s become slightly difficult for her to rely on her boyfriend after discovering he was using Tinder.

The 29-year-old took to Reddit to share her cheating fears, revealing that she had confronted her partner about the dating app.

She was obviously confused by the fact he was using the site – but it was his explanation which really baffled her.

Posting on the Relationship Advice forum, the anonymous woman wrote: “Did my boyfriend really make a Tinder account to to view men’s haircuts?”

She’s finding it harder to trust her boyfriend now

She continued: “I’ve been with my BF for a year now, and for the last three months we’ve been living together in quarantine.

“He had a buzz cut since I first met him, except for the last three months hasn’t gone out to get a haircut for obvious reasons.

“A few weeks ago since things have opened back up he was talking about maybe making an appointment to get a haircut.

“I asked if he was just going to get a buzz cut and he said yes, and I said that I thought his hair looked really good longer and that maybe he should just get a trim.”

The boyfriend just wanted to see other guy’s haircuts

The woman added: “A few days ago I went on to his phone to play Spotify and I notice that he had Tinder downloaded.

“I opened it up and saw that it was set up as a woman’s account set to swipe on men. It didn’t look like he had messaged anyone yet.

“When I confronted him about it he told me that he created the account to look at men’s haircuts.”

She went on to say that she asked him why he couldn’t have just used Google – but he also had an answer for that too.

The girlfriend said: “When I asked about Facebook he goes ‘So I’m just going to get an identical haircut to one of my real life friends so I look like I’m Single White Femaling him?’

“When I told my best friend she goes ‘Do you really want to be one of those women who believes men’s ridiculous excuses for cheating?’

“What do people think, could this actually be why he made a Tinder account?”

Since she posted it on the online forum, more than 200 people commented on the post.

One said: “Sorry I can’t help, this is just too funny.”

Another added: “It sounds ludicrous but somehow I believe it as well.”

A third commented: “I believe him too, and you know why? Because I think he’s a f***ing genius and now I want to do what he did.”

And a fourth reassured: “If he was trying to cheat, why tf would he have set up a fake account as a woman? Why would there be no messages in the history?”
