Yewande Biala Recalls Terrifying Tinder Date Which Left Her Thinking She Was Going To Be Kidnapped | #tinder | #pof

Yewande Biala has recalled a terrifying Tinder date, where she thought she might be kidnapped on the way home. In a podcast with Pretty Little Thing, the former Love Islander told the story of how she had been on a date – which she says had been ‘grand’ – but it took a scary turn for the worse on the way home when he started ‘scratching’ her and asking inappropriate questions about her underwear.

Yewande also mentioned that she had ‘no credit’ on her phone and, as she lived in Meath (in the deep, dark Irish countryside), they were driving in the middle of nowhere .

‘I’m thinking “Oh my god what am I gonna do? I have no credit, I can’t call anyone,”‘the 23-year-old said. ‘I can’t actually jump out the car because I was in the middle of nowhere and what am I gonna do? And then he starts like asking me what colour underwear I have on! I thought I was going to get kidnapped. I was like, “this is how people die and get locked up in dungeons” like this is how it happens.’

The former Love Islander added that she didn’t want to say or do anything unless it provoked her date: ‘I was too scared to react cos I was like: “What if this goes south and he just goes insane? Then what am I going to do?”‘

Thankfully, Yewande arranged for him to drop her off safely somewhere nearby so she could walk home. ‘So I get him to drop me in some random estate […] pretend like I’m going into this random persons house right, then he drives off,’ she said. ‘And then I go home and get a message saying “oh hey, I hope I wasn’t being too forward, hope you had a great time…”‘

It goes without saying, but scaring women isn’t the way to get a second date.
