Robert Hendy-Freegard from The Puppet Master

About: The true-crime documentary shines a light on Robert Hendy-Freegard, a cruel con man masquerading as a British spy called David who “manipulates and steals from his victims.” It tells the harrowing tale of a conning — which lasts over a decade — and is documented across three episodes which reveal the methods he employed to trick people out of their hard-earned cash and ruin their lives simultaneously.

About: We assume that most know about the failed Fyre Festival that was supposed to be hosted by Billy McFarland in 2017 on Pablo Escobar’s old private island, but if not, the documentary film gives a behind-the-scenes look at the infamous unraveling of the scam festival.

About: The French documentary tells the story of a group of hustlers who con the European Union carbon system for hundreds of millions of euros. However, after becoming ridiculously rich overnight and beginning living a life of luxury, it’s not long before they begin turning on each other and everything came crumbling down.
