Singh demands answer on how Canadian government will help Ukrainian refugees
Speaking during question period on Thursday, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh demanded answers on how the Canadian government would help refugees fleeing the Russian invasion in Ukraine. Marie France-Lalonde, parliamentary secretary to the minister of immigration, refugees and citizenship, said Canada “will provide a safe haven” for those fleeing the war.
