Malaysian pianist and influencer Cathryn Li is not only known for her musical talents, but also for looking sexy.

Dubbed the “Piano Goddess”, she often takes to Instagram to share sultry snaps of herself in lingerie and in cosplay with her three million followers.

Recently, the 33-year-old fell victim to an unauthorised bank transaction and posted about it as a warning to her followers.

There has been a rise in online scams, with many Malaysians being charged between 10 ringgit (S$3) and 50 ringgit (S$14.60) after clicking on ads on Facebook. Hence, Cathryn decided to check her bank statement after reading about the scams in the news.

Her loss? 28 ringgit (S$8.20).

Showing a pic of her bank statement, she wrote: “After reading the news, I realised that FB deducted my money for no reason!”

However, what caught the attention of netizens wasn’t her loss, but her very substantial bank balance of 40.36 million ringgit (S$11.7 mil), which was accidentally revealed in the pic.
