During the last vacation before December hits, here’s what your breakfast host got up to.
Ever wondered what the team get up to when their on a break?
Darren Maule’s last vacation was a sunny London summer but this time he kept it local, when it came to a weeks R&R.

While this break was much needed, there was still loads of adventures Darren got involved in.
Here’s how Darren’s rest and relaxation got down.
The short break ahead of the run-up to festive season.
Darren has spent waking up without his 4.30am alarm clock, to his home’s magnificent sea views and making the most of time with family.
Darren was over the moon when he saw the opportunity to take a short break.

It’s also very necessary to take stock and to get much needed rest from a busy schedule of radio.
“My Anna Banana brought me one of her legend breakfast trays in bed, every single day of the holiday”, says Darren.
It’s always been said, a way to man’s heart is through his stomach.
“To say I was spoilt with love, home-made food and naps is an understatement!”, says Darren.
The rest of the holidays saw Darren enjoying the facilities with the family at uMhlali Country Club, where he serves up a decent game of tennis.

His days also included drives to his new favourite coffee and pastry spot ‘Dough Girl’ on the Berea.
The next bit of the holiday, Darren had was playing willing taxi driver to Mouse who as a typical teenager, wanted to spend the first week of her school holidays catching up with friends.
Evenings were either curled up on the couch with the family or there were a number of glamorous nights out, including a black tie event at Sun Coast.
A photo exhibition at the Beverly Hills and an intimate dinner with friends at Bel Punto in uMdloti.

“I feel rested and happy and ready to hit the last quarter of the year hard! I’m especially looking forward to ECR’s 26th birthday celebrations”, says Darren.
