Manipur Violence News Live: Maximum deployment of CRPF is being done in the Hill state
- Union Home Minister Amit Shah today held two video-conference meetings with Manipur CM N Biren Singh, Union Home Secretary, Director IB and concerned officials in the state as well as the Centre. He also spoke with CMs of neighbouring states of Manipur.
- Major deployment of security forces in Manipur. Several companies of BSF, CRPF and Assam Rifles along with the Army were deployed in the state yesterday and today. Further deployment of security forces will be done tomorrow as well. Maximum deployment of CRPF is being done in the Hill state.

- Two buses from El Fashir in Western Sudan carrying 80 Indians reached Port Sudan (East of Sudan) safely after travelling for more than 48 hours.
